Wool, Wine & Workshops
2018 programme and accommodation details will be released early in 2018
What would add an extra layer of luxury to your Sit & Knit and/or Workshop fun? Adding a sleepover for a night or two in the beautiful, historic Tarndie Homestead of course! The Homestead is a gorgeous building just oozing olde world charm. Enjoy sleeping in one of the eight bedrooms – each decorated with sympathetic ambience. Would you like to sit by the log fire, enjoy breakfast in the formal dining room and listen to the birds wake you in the morning? Or maybe, throw on your winter woollies and go for a walk around the gorgeous grounds? Sound enticing and just what you need?
On each of the weekends of the Wool, Wine & Workshop Series (17/18th June, 29/30th July, 12/13th August, 30th September/1st October) the Homestead is available for you to stay at Tarndie and enjoy the beautifully bucolic environment of country life. Accommodation is either double, single or twin share and the Homestead can accommodate up to fourteen people. Stay either the Saturday night or double the relaxation and stay both Saturday and Sunday nights.
Do you have a non-crafty ‘significant other’ (adults only) who would like to while away their time in beautiful surroundings while you attend the Sunday workshops? Maybe they would love to go bike riding in the Otways, try some beer tasting or just sit by the fire with a favourite book. Why not take this opportunity to indulge in a lovely weekend away for you both.
Cost is $180 for a double room/night; $120/pp for a single room/night; $95/pp for twin share/night.
To book your date and room style of choice go to our ticket sales and choose from the drop down menu. For multiple nights accommodation add separate purchases to your shopping cart.
Some additional details to help you to decide you really must experience a night or two of country spoiling!
Simple self serve breakfast is included in your room rate.
(note – all other meals are not included in cost)
Tarndie Cafe/Bar is open and serving yummy things!
Check in at 2pm on Saturday and check out at 10am on your morning of departure.
Fire places (two in the Homestead) are laid and ready to go.
Additional information can be found on the Tarndie website.
